activating Fcitx causes programs closed

Bug Description
Binary package hint: fcitx
Fcitx couldn't be activated under Feisty Herd4, I can c the window hanging out there. But when I press "ctrl + space", the program I want to type into just get closed, FF, Gedit, VIM, etc. Every program that comes with input area just get closed by calling fcitx without any pop-up warning message, while SCIM just works fine.

Did this bug still exist for Feisty final release? And more importantly, can you test fcitx with the most recent releast, Gutsy (7.10)?
