Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
The brightness-applet adjusts the brightness even if you haven't altered the slider.
Click to drop down slider
Move Slider to 95% (anything that it's 100%)
Click to hide slider
Now, each further time that the applet's icon is clicked to open the slider, the brightness is reduced one notch. Notice that this is occuring without the slider itself even being adjusted...
