Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

I started the live env from a desktop i386 herd5 CD on a HP Compaq nw8440 laptop

I got a VESA driven screen at 1280x1024 instead of the native monitor resolution 1680x1050

At least it should have used vesa Mode: 144 (1400x1050)

Vesa does not support the native resolution AFAIK.
