I think this bug has been resolved in the newer kernels. I don't have this problem anymore, what about you other guys? I would like to see this bug closed.

I'm still experiencing this in 2.6.20.7
Mine doesn't always crash on boot though and sometimes with what (on the web) appears to be an xtables/iptables issue.

I have this bug in 2.6.20-16-386. It doesn't show up every system start, but every third or so. See the picture I made. The message repeats forever, and two keyboard-LED's are blinking, too. If you need any further information about my system configuration, let me know.

I also encountered this bug in 2.6.20-16-generic. 2.6.20-15-generic boots up fine.

I'm closing this report because the reporter said it's fixed for him with an upgrade.

For the other, if it's still an issue for you, then there's chance it's unrelated to the original issue (different hardware, other cause of panic, ...) Please try with the latest Ubuntu release and feel free to report any new bug and follow instruction for kernel-related bug reports available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies

Thanks in advance!
