Bug Description

Kubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot", 32bit, installed via desktop CD.

Install "kubuntu-full" on a laptop with intel graphics hardware and desktop effects don't activate after next reboot.

It seems to be either fglrx or nvidia-* related since removing all of these video driver packages and reboot apparently fixes the problem.

Please remove dependencies to Nvidia/AMD driver packages, these should be detected and installed at install time properly.

The bug is about old unsupported release. It must be fixed long ago, at least there is no video driver dependencies in version 1.338.
