Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-numpy

f2py can make wrapper-code between fortran and python, but for this to be useful, atleast some fortran compiler should be suggested by python-numpy, the Python headerfiles which is part of python-dev is also required for this compilation to work....

Please have a look at the newest version of python-numpy in Feisty and see if this resolves this issue. Python-numby now build-depends on python-dev-all (which includes python-dev) and the GCC g77 ForTran compiler.

that should do it, f2py "can" be useful just to make wrapper-code in a stand alone sense, but with no means of compiling and linking it to Python it makes little sense, so these dependencies seems sound, thanks for following up this bug-report...
