Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

Feisty Herd 5 fully updated.

The totem crash occurred after attempting to listen to a Windows Media radio stream using Firefox ( 2.0.0.2 Ubuntu )

The url for the stream is reached from

http://abc.net.au/classic/

( "listen now" , choose the windows button)

This was a deliberate experiment, to see if the gstreamer codecs etc installed "on demand" from other attempts to play .wmv files etc would handle this, using the totem plugin for Firefox.

The crash happened after some seconds, and did not crash Firefox, but only brought up the "apport" dialogue, from which I have made this report.
