Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

Feisty Fawn 7.04 (Herd 5).

When turning "Desktop Effects" on from System/Preferences/Desktop Effects, window manager decorations disappear immediately. After this there is no way to for example resize windows, although Alt+MouseClick will still allow one to move windows.

Switching between workplaces works also.

Logging out and logging again in has no effect on this one. Window manager is practically dead.

Add Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True" to your Screen section in xorg.conf. If you use the new restricted-manager to enable the nvidia driver it does this for you.
