Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-session

reporting thisto gnome-session, but could be any of a number of packages. after recent upgrades, my gnome-sessions end spontaneously after a period of inactivity (not sure how many minutes exactly, or whether it varies). The same does NOT happen with kde or openbox. xorg logs don't seem to show anything odd, but the session is not saved, so i assume this is some kind of crash.

obviously it's very frustrating, will be happy to provide various config files and so forth if you can point me in the right direction.

steps to reproduce: log in; wait. if i work consistently, this never happens.

Thank you for your bug. Looks like an xorg crash, maybe that happens when the screensaver is running

Please try with 7.10 or Hardy alpha3. What driver are you using?
