Bug Description

Using image from the 11.12 release (http://releases.linaro.org/11.12/ubuntu/leb-origen/), the software reboot is not reliable, failing quite frequently while booting the kernel.

I usually reboot and get stuck at:

This can be a blocker for LAVA, as they usually reboot the board to switch between the user and master image.

The soft-reboot hang issue is caused when the scaling_governor is set as ondemand governor. The issue is currently being debugged. As a temporary measure, disabling ondemand governor will fix the issue.

This issue has been fixed. Please find attached the patch.
I have tested it against [1].

Tushar, if possible can you please test this patch with your hwpack setup.
