Pitti, it seems that retraces do not give any useful result on crashes of non-C programs. In this case the original trace has even more information than the retrace.

Can you do the tests described in bug 98520 (2nd posting)? This way we can decide whether we solve this problem bia HPLIP 1.7.3 or by patching HPLIP 1.7.1.
