Bug Description

Requires manual editing of the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file upon installation. Lack of GUI Xorg configuration makes this ugly.

i have been facing the same bug with my monitor since 7.04..i am on 8.04 and yet the max resolution is 1280x768.
