Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimmie

Hi. There seems to be a problem with gimmie, in that items appear in one column some times whereas they do on two columns some others.

Same thing happens to me. It seems to me that the icons change their size randomly which results in it not being able to appear as two columns (just my guess at why).

I thought I would qualify my comments:
Just about everything except for under the Linux topic and then the settings button. Though if you move between different topics and back again a few times it seems to correct itself. There seems to be some discussion on the issue here http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406269, but that won't help you much David as you are the one still experiencing the problem in that bug report too. However, for others, building from the update svn may fix the problem.

I'm running Feisty and the package is 0.2.4.repack-0ubuntu1 from the repositories.

Yes, I do still have the issue in Fiesty. I don't know if its been addressed in Gusty though.
