nvidia-legacy only offer low resolution

Bug Description

I had nvidia-legacy working perfectly on my edgy install
after upgrading to Feisty, it works only at 800x600 no matter if i set it manually in xorg.conf.
i tried to express as 1024x768_60 but it didn't work either.
only 800x600 and 640x480 resolution is available even if i deleted them from xorg.conf leaving
only 1024x768.

Hello and thanks for the answer
after the xorg upgrade of 2 days ago seems the problem has been solved.
I am not at home for the whole week, if is still needed i will post you the xorg.0.log file, i also issued dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg, i lost all the autoprobed settings, but i was able to get it working.
