Bug Description

It looks like there is an error with the 'mimetypes' set for Firefox. I don't know how to fix it. I have reported a similar bug before because I was not able to open (I think it was) '.pdf'.

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. As I understand it, .aspx is a server side extension and as such, Firefox shouldn't open it, but it needs to be served properly from a web server like Apache or IIS (since this is probably an ASP.NET site).

OK. That may be, but the behaviour that I see is the same as bug #918019, and I am prompted to choose an application (PS I don't know the File System well enough to choose an application easily. I'm getting the hang of it, but it would be better to have a list of choices like when right-click opening a file from eg. the Desktop).
