Bug Description

from https://jenkins.openstack.org/job/gate-nova-unittests/834/console:

+ git remote update
Fetching origin
error: RPC failed; result=22, HTTP code = 500
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
error: Could not fetch origin

Corresponding entry from gerrit error log:

[2012-02-02 22:58:28,504] WARN / : Internal error during upload-pack
org.eclipse.jgit.errors.PackProtocolException: want
                 07ae687a13d456ab1aa9064c62dd98c94cfabd33 not valid

That SHA1 doesn't appear anywhere that I can see. The next build (for a different change) worked, and the build after that (for the same change as the one which caused this error) also worked.

I changed the script to run:

git remote update || git remote update

To see if that will reduce the effect of this error on tests.
