ferdinand, is this just an f-spot crash, or does the whole system freeze?

this might have to do with bug 89467

It's just F-spot, the system keeps going and I can restart F-spot again

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I cannot reproduce this bug it works just fine here, may you try to see if you can reproduce it with a newer version of Ubuntu like Gutsy Gibbon? You can get a CD Image from here: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ thanks
