Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

To reproduce:

View an IMAP folder. Open an email. Choose File > Save as > File. Choose a filename containing a colon (this will happen by default if the subject contained a colon). Attempt to write the file to a filesystem that does not allow colons, such as FAT32. Thunderbird will silently fail to write the file.

This is reproducible for me in the latest Feisty release (20070307) and also the latest upstream 1.5.10 tar.gz package. I came across this bug while investigating bug #90410, which appears to be fixed in Feisty.
