Bug Description

Binary package hint: xine-ui

Description of the problem:
When dragging large numbers of videos on to the totem video area from nautilus xine will sometimes go on to abort and die.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run xine .
2. Highlight a lot of videos and drop them on xine's play area.

Expected results:
Each video to play in turn.

Actual results:
xine-ui will do one of several things:
Abort with a core dump.
Try and play various videos while popping up warning dialogs (like specified MRL could not be played) while skipping past videos that it can play very quickly. Before eventually playing the last movie in the list.

Version information:
xine-ui 0.99.4+dfsg+cvs20061111-2ubuntu1
libxine1 1.1.4-2ubuntu3
libxine1-ffmpeg 1.1.4-2ubuntu3

How reproducible is this problem:
It is quite hard to reproduce with a crash. It is quite common for the skipping and error dialogs to occur but much rarer for a crash to occur.
