auto refresh instances page doesn't work. async http response is 500

Bug Description

In Diablo on the instance page when "auto refresh" is enabled the refresh button dosen't work and the instance list never updates. In the background the url django_openstack dash/<tenant_id>/instances/refresh is returning 500 responses.

I have a patch for this so i am creating this bug to allow gerrit to link to this.

Looks like this was a packaging issue with using glance. Let me know if this is still an issue.

Hi,

I think the bug still exists the view [1] refers to an invalid template which isn't in the templates dir [2]. I the fix didn't get merged because jenkins of what looks like a bad quantum version. Should I try resubmitting after the test suit fix is accepted [3]?
