I'm not sure about whether Nautilus or unity manages that quicklist, but I guess Nautilus is to blame for this.

Maybe you're right, because the bookmark doesn't disappear immediately from the list of bookmarks in Nautilus. I do not know whether the list of bookmarks and quicklist change at the same time.

Excuse me my broken English ;)

I delete the folder without deleting the bookmark. The bookmark disappears after a while but not instantly.
If I delete the bookmark manually, yes it disappears of the quicklist too, immediately.

do you delete it in the bookmark list dialog? on the sidebar? in a file selector? using a menu? the keyboard...?

I delete the folder from the file manager, but I don't delete the bookmark. I think the bookmark should disappear automatically from the quicklist when I delete its folder, but it is only my opinion.
I try to open the bookmark from the quicklist after deleting the folder, appears a message that says "Could not find <folder>".

This is an issue in nautilus as well, since it doesn't update the bookmarks when removing the folder.
I think it should firstly fixed upstream.
