In short: When there is a second remote backend (slave) configured and a frontend requests Tuner Info in the System Info panel, the master backend crashed with:

This is actually two bugs, the one you've described is causing the exit, and the exit is causing the segfault (bug 90710). Did the patch in the above URL get into the 0.20-fixes subversion tree?

The Segfault of the frontend does not happen every time the backend
exits like this.

I saw in Mythtv SVN that it was fixed. I do not know about the
0.20-fixes (is that a separate release? Where do I find it?). Have not
tested SVN yet though.

I tried switching the order of things in the database (remote card was
listed with ID 1). But that did not help. Both cards have a VideoSource
assigned.

Sorry that I posted the last reply twice, I did not trust that replying to an email posted the message on this page.

Anyhow: in the mean time I have checked 0.20-fixes, which is a branch in SVN obviously. And NO, the bug is not yet fixed in 0.20-fixed.
