Bug Description

Currently there is no way to automatically detect the default video output when booting Origen, as the LVDS output is forced to be the primary one (fb0), even when there's not display attached to the board.

Ideally the kernel would identify at boot time if there's a valid HDMI video output, and enable it when there's no LCD display connected at the LVDS port.

To enable HDMI output with Xorg:

With 2012.05 release, the HDMI fb node is /dev/fb3. Haven't got any success with automatic detection yet.

ricardo, do you prefere we enale the HDMI or the LCD be default. My guess is the HDMI but I will wait for you to confirm.

If we disable LCD support, we get the display by default on HDMI. But I
am still stuck with having to support both and making HDMI as the
default choice.
