pidgin sometimes gets "unhooked" from the session, can not call buddy list by any means.

Occasionally pidgin seems to get unhooked from the session while running. Clicking on the icon from the message indicator, menu or unity launcher does not call the buddy list. The only way to get it back is to kill pidgin and restart it, or kill compiz. Individual chat windows can still be called from the indicator as they appear.
