Bug Description

Binary package hint: restricted-manager

Using the restricted drivers manager, it was advised to use the ATI proprietary driver which I accepted, however after reboot (was requested) my screen is in 1024x768 60Hz and my keyboard is in international US layout instead of having 1280x1024 75Hz with a French layout keyboard.

Thank you Cédric to point this out :-)

But I also have the problem of the resolution which is stuck to 1024, and I cannot change it to higher resolution without changing manually the xorg.conf file :-(

In fact I had the problem too but I forget to point it out, check the diff : my resolution goes to 1024 instead of 1200.

But in the same time the install correctly identify my screen, so some times values are better some time not :)
