Bug Description

Click the start on network connect and it would usually bring up a term session to su but hangs.. seems to be a java related thing.... I know it is only supported on rpm based distros, but atleast could fake it to work on edgy..

What's 'Juniper Network Connect SSL'? Is it a java applet, or a separate program? A plugin for your browser?

I've got it running on my Edgy after following instructions on this page:

"Juniper Network Connect SSL" is based on Java but seems that it uses some native code too. Therefore these steps are necessary:
sudo apt-get install openssl libmotif3 libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.7 /usr/lib/libssl.so.2
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.7 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.2
sudo ldconfig

Yeah had running on Edgy the problem was with Feisty 7.04 it just frowser the browser..

I uninstalled j2re1.4 and j2re1.4-mozilla-plugin

and installed

sun-java5-plugin all is good now..

Works now with the same mods for Edgy in place ofcourse
