Bug Description

Binary package hint: xmoto

Sometimes, xmoto time begins to run extremely slowly (game timer shows pace of ~1/100 original, for example). Sometimes view begins to shake, too.
Typical maps affected - "Just for fun" (try going left, and crashing many times), also "Up and down" and others.

The problem appears not instantly, first 3-5 plays are fine.

Ubuntu feisty, I have i915 intel integrated graphics, other 3d programs/games run fine. Also, seems like this is not directly connected to graphics, maybe some engine problems. I haven't observed this in version provided with edgy; however I do not play games frequently.

I can confirm this, also on an i915.

I installed 0.2.7 .debs from getdeb.net (edgy version, because there was no feisty binaries, but that doesn't matter I guess), and this bug is fixed.

0.2.7 release looks more solid in other aspects too. Any chances upgrading version in Feisty?

Thank you for your bug report. Do you still have this issue with the latest stable release of Ubuntu ?

Hard to tell, if feisty packages weren't updated, then yes, the issue is still there.
Personally I'm using (well, I'm playing quite rarely to be honest) 0.3.0 from Ubuntu packages provided on http://xmoto.sourceforge.net/. The version shipped with Ubuntu Feisty is too outdated to be used anyway.

Thank you, this should be fixed in Gutsy which ships 0.3.0-2.
