Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-themes

In human theme, active selected items are very easy to tell apart from inactive because the latter have a distinct grey tint:

active → http://img453.imageshack.us/img453/7024/humanactivevd4.png
inactive → http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/9373/humaninactiveeh0.png

However, in custom themes (clearlooks for example) they look almost the same:

active → http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/4845/clearlooksactiveav4.png
inactive → http://img453.imageshack.us/img453/9194/clearlooksinactivegk4.png

Please, give inactive items more distinct a hue.

Thanks for reporting this issue. What are the exact settings you use? These screenshots does not seem to use the default Clearlooks theme.

Yes, the problem only seem to affect custom color sets, not default ones.

Basically, any user-created color setting shows the problem. If you need any additional data I'll try to provide it.

Thanks for your answer. Why do yo think every user-created setting shows this problem?

Well, every custom color I have created showed it so I just extrapolated to any other possible custom color.

It looks like this was abandoned long ago. Is this still an issue for you?
