Bug Description
When the scissors tool in gimp is used, the system hangs.
System Information:
- Samsung NC20 Netbook (VIA VX800)
- Ubuntu Oneiric
- DDX: xserver-
- XAA enabled
Workaround:
- Use EXA instead of XAA
Fix:
- Available in upstream commit 921
- Already applied in xserver-
but re-introduced with Ubuntu-patch 101_xaa_solid.patch (LP: #410262)
