Bug Description

Not all the folders and files are displayed in you Home Folder(or other), like..
I installed wine, but I couldn't find the folder containing it. But I could see the .wine
folder by clicking the browsing button (in firefox ) where you browse you folders to save
a file in it.

Edit > Preferences > Show hidden and backup files

Any file that begins with a "." is a hidden folder. These are usually for program's settings and data that most users don't want to see or mess with. However, the previous comment does tell you how to explicitly list them.
