Bug Description

Binary package hint: cupsys

Live CD starts up without creating user/password. Cups requires authorization to configure printers.

Boot Beta CD. From HPLIP Toolbox, select "Tools & Settings", click "Configure" button on "Configure Printer Settings" (after previously installing printer). Konquerer displays Cups Administration page. Change a setting, then hit the "Set" button. Get dialog for userid and password. Game over... :-(

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 alpha/beta?
