Bug Description

I have Vista on HDA/hd0. To be safe I installed Ubuntu 7.04 on a fresh HDB/hd1 which is USB connected.
The installation didn't let me choose where to put the boot record, and now I cannot boot Vista without HDB connected.
I get:
GRUB loading --
Error 21
