Bug Description

just installed the beta from 7.04; it's not possible to change the screen resolution via system - preferences - screen resolution to the necessary resolution of 1280x1024.

before with edgy eft, my ati radeon 7000 was running with 1280x1024 and i was able to configure the resolution via the preferences menu without any problem. don't know why the installation didn't pick it up correctly this time.

Do you still get this from the final version of 7.04? If so, please attach Xorg.0.log and xorg.conf thanks
