kernel file is not verified if its not of zero size

Bug Description

1. Create VM
2. Wait till Active
3. Attach public ip and ssh to vm then exit from VM
4. Go to the compute node where the VM is present
5. Go to /var/lib/nova/instances/<instanceID> folder
6. Delete the kernel file
7 write some junk to create a kernel file which i did by " dd if=/dev/zero of=kernel bs=1k count=10000
8 Reboot the VM

Observation:

VM stuck in rebooting state

So, you went in and broke the VM on purpose. :-)

Can you delete the VM once it's in this state? If you can't, I'd say that's a bug. If you can, then it sounds like everything is working as expected.

Closed as a won't fix after 3 weeks in invalid. If there is an answer to Russell's question, please reopen.
