Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdesktop

Kubuntu, boot Livecd mode as usual. Kdesktop crashes. Using VMWare. There are no icons on the desktop as a result of the desktop crash. Repeatable.

If you are able to reproduce this crash, please try to obtain a backtrace <http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash> and attach the file to the bug report. This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem.
