Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
After I upgraded from edgy my system was lagging so much. I figure out it was a graphic driver problem. I was using the "radeon" driver on edgy, and I used beryl without any problems. In order to solve my problem about the slow response and lagging I enabled the restricted drivers. Now the response is actually superb and there is no lagging at all. But the window manager wont start for some reason.

Not quite sure what to do with this one. The crash report information shows that it's a known bug in gtk-window- decorator so it should be a dupe. However, your description of your actual problem is simply because compiz does not work on fglrx without XGL.
