Bug Description

Binary package hint: papaya

I entered a command including an umlaut, it was translated correctly by the mud. When i used the command history (arrow up) to choose the command again, it included "?" instead of the umlaut. On sending it the program crashed.

I also tried to remove the ? from the command line before sending, but it wouldnt work either with backspace or del.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 alpha/beta?
