Custom screen resolution 1280x768

Bug Description

I have LCD monitor with 1280x768 resolution, connected with DVI to nvidia 6800gt.
When I choose System-> Preferences -> Screen resolution, I only see 640x480 800x600 1024x768.

I can enable it manually from xorg.conf , but it would be nicer if it would appear automatically.

I hava got a 1280x768 with GeForce Go 6100.
I can not install Ubuntu 7.04
