Bug Description

Binary package hint: nm-applet

Technically, this is not really a bug proper, but I feel that in some ways it is quite a showstopper. When Network-manager uses the gnome-keyring to store wireless keys, resulting in the fact that those of us who use encrypted (WEP or WPA) networks in our homes have to type our keyring password upon login. Personally, I believe that there should be an option allowing network-manager to store keys in plaintext, and perhaps enable it by default.
