Text in lxterminal is not displayed correcty when system language is Vietnamese

Bug Description

My system language is Vietnamese, when I use lxterminal the text is not displayed correctly, please view the attached screenshot. I tried to change the font type but there is no difference. This issue doesn't exist in when the default language is English.

I installed Japanese and I've still got this problem. It seems Vietnamese is not the reason of this bug, maybe UTF-8?

The default font might be the problem according to this email thread from May with a similar named participant. http://list-archives.org/2012/07/05/lubuntu-users-lists-ubuntu-com/terminal-emulators-and-utf-8/f/4748160284

Has you fixed this now? Can this bug be closed?
