Binary package hint: compiz

after upgrade to "Linux ubuntu 2.6.20-13-generic"
compiz and beryl crash...

AWN not work well,

Driver Nvidia 9755 are installed...

after latest upgrade i must set driver "nv" on my xorg.conf, with "nvidia" my linuxbox crash X... then login in GDM... then crash X... again again again... ;-)

Thanks for your bug report. New packages version have been uploaded since you opened it, could you try if you still get the issue and attach a new crash file if that's the case?

not well...

I upgrate all my packages...

gnome restart after 30 sec after desktop are loaded!

ehm... tty1 tty2 etc are "dark" whithout text.

For answer to this bug I must boot with kernel 2.6.20-12-generic, now after reinstalled binary nvidia, beryl work, but compiz no ;-(...

I'm afraid.

My linuxbox worked well with Feisty from Herd3...to yesterday... it's possible 'couse I'm noob I must to reistall "from 0" the beta version???

Help me...

P.S. with last kernel GDM restart and I can't report any bug... sorry.

I found a problem:

I use now last kernel... I install Binary Nvidia... lauch beryl-manager and work well.

Close beryl and enable "desktop effect" Ubuntu say "not able to bla bla bla" and X restart, I login X restart... again again again, my Xorg.0.log give me errors:

compiz-extra is incompatible with the new compiz and has been removed in gutsy, it'll be replaced by a new set of plugin, closing the bug
