Bug Description

Binary package hint: alacarte

Hello,

When I try to edit the Gnome menu by launching alacarte, the modifications I make are not saved. I've heard about a tool bar at the top of the alacarte window with the buttons or menus to save changes, but this tool bar isn't displayed on my computer.
I tried Ctrl+S before quitting, but it didn't work, like any other manipulation.

I founded topics on forums that talks about the same problem, so it doesn't seem to be a problem specially located on my computer.

Thanks by advance.

No, I already tried this, but a unlog/relog doesn't fix the problem.

I just see that it seems to be linked to some shortcuts only, like the ones in the System menu. Maybe it's finally normal and liked to a question of accreditations ?

I just tried to edit another shortcuts, all in the multimedia group. I could edit Brasero, MPlayer, VLC, but the modification I done on Totem, Rhythmbox or Serpentine were not saved.

It works with some shortcuts, but not all. Hope those elements help you.
