Bug Description

Binary package hint: file-roller

File-roller should allow creating password-protected zip (or rar or...) files.

Thanks! :)

You can create a protected archive, did you try the Edit menu Password option?

Sorry for the delay!

I want to say that when I right-click in a file and select "Create archive...", in the dialog that appears would be nice if there is a option to create password-protected zip.

Thanks for your work too.

This is an omission in Nautilus, it has nothing to do with File Roller.

The fileroller interface itself lacks the option aswell. There is a option to give a password for a gvien passwd protected tar/zip/[whatever].
