Bug Description

After installing the 3/29 updates, wmv playback quit working. I have default totem-gstreamer setup with the restricted format package installed. Up until today, wmv worked fine.

To clarify some more. wmv9 is working. wmv8 is not.

I upgraded to Kunbuntu Edgy to Feisty and now some wmv playback is crippled too (wmv8 / 9 ?). But the backend is not gstreamer, it's Xine in my case (Kaffeine/Codeine). Files play fine in Mplayer though.
I'm set up with the medibuntu repos.

Could w32codecs be faulty ?
