Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-cups-manager
I can't to add printer via gnome-cups-manager. When i click "New Printer", gnome-cups-add program start, reading printer database and silently crashes. If i start gnome-cups-manager from terminal, i see warnings and X Window System error:
** (gnome-
The program 'gnome-cups-add' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
(Details: serial 218 error_code 2 request_code 94 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

I think that problem in locale settings - i use ru_RU.UTF-8. If i start gnome-cups-manager from terminal by this way:
$LANG= gnome-cups-manager
all works fine.
We have changed the default print management system in Ubuntu from gnome-cups-manager to system- config- printer because g-c-m is no longer maintained. Please open a new bug against system- config- printer if you still have this problem with Gutsy or Hardy. Thanks!
