Does the bug only appear with DVD image playback or with any media file? How do you close VLC?

At this point, it only happens with DVD, from a fat32 partition and from original DVDs for me.

I close VLC by clicking on the X in the right corner and it works, but I still hear the sound of the video file.. When I print a process list, wxvlc is still in memory and the only way to stop the audio playback is to close wxvlc ( with kill or something like that ).

The bug happens with ext3 partitions too, so it's not Fat32 specific. It always happens when playing DVD from the hard drive with VLC.
