Bug Description

Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

The megaraid_sas.ko module is required for some disk controllers to function. Notably:

0000:02:0e.0 RAID bus controller: Dell PowerEdge Expandable RAID controller 5i

However, update-initramfs does not consider this module worth putting into an initrd, leading to failed attempts to boot. The workaround is to force it in /etc/mkinitramfs/modules/, but it's awkward to need to do this, especially during installation.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta?
