Bug Description

When I open the add/remove application tool in the "Programs" menu,
and then I choose the category "Internet" and searching for "Firefox", everything works right and it shows firefox to me.

Now I click on "Games", and here is the bug.
It shows nothing to me. - I had to thought a few seconds why it shows nothing to me in this category. The problem is, the application still things I am searching for Firefox.

But that's the problem. I clicked on INTERNET to search for FIREFOX, not to search for firefox in games.

So we should apply the search only on the category that was choosen for the search.

I am not sure if the search or the categories should be at the top level. But a problem is that you don't get a visual clue, that the search is still active. I plan to use python-sexy's search widget in the future, since it changes its background color if the search is active.

If we change the behavior of the search widget we also would have to move it to the right of the categories.

Just changing the behavior is not enough and would confuse other users, since the search widget is above the categorie widget. the same applies to the show combobox.

Cheers,

Sebastian

Fixed in my local branch: if a search is active we will now use a yellow background in the search entry.

Waiting for mvo to merge and upload.
