Bug Description

See http://sourceware.org/ml/libc-alpha/2006-10/msg00082.html for details. Reported over a year ago w/ a patch, never fixed. Still exists in Feisty. I can trigger it with linuxdcpp (haven't tried to develop a small test case that can consistently trigger it). I've updated the patch for the version of libc6 in Feisty.
