Bug Description

Binary package hint: gwenview

Gwenview 1.4.1, in Feisty seems to have some sort of bug in the scaling of images. That is, it scales really slow. I googled around and saw that it may be the results of a bad makefile.am that results in certain optimizations getting turned off (or not turned on), maybe that's it ...

Confirmed using architecture i386.
Loading images is way slower than on edgy after upgrade.

I wish I would have caught onto this before gutsy was released, but the issue was fixed upstream in mid-september. An updated package would be a nice thing to have :)

If I remember right it was fixed in Hardy, and I know it's definitely a non-issue in Intrepid ... closing this bug.
